Between Microsoft discontinuing support for Windows XP early next year, and Safenet is not producing a parallel port driver for Windows 7, options are becoming more and more limited. The longer you try to extend the life of obsolete hardware and software the more difficult it becomes to move forward if you do end up having the type of system failure that requires you to update.It would just be nice if I could tell people 'Hey, it's xxx dollars to update your old port lock to a new USB one' so they can quit messing with this legacy hardware that was designed in the 70's.
