Is this a bunch of shit or actually true? Also, are there any differences in the 2009-2010 frames compared to the 2011-12 frames? Anything helps, thanks!Frame revision loses the g3 dropout adjustability, with a new really burly dropout design, and a few slight tweaks to strength of the frame, I think at the front of the chainstays (u-section) was strengthened, which looking at it now looks much burlier than before. Didn't they go to a monocoque design using the same downtube as the M9?

Might be a couple more minor changes.Frankly. IMO.it's a 'bunch of shit' as you put it and only the burliest heaviest clumsiest racers/riders will break or crack a first-run FRO 951.It's a rad bike for all things DH, corners amazing, gobbles everything up in it's path, can be built decently light, and seems to accelerate well, from what I remember.

8' mode is more 'lively', more progressive, pops nicely, 8.5' mode is loosey goosey and feels much more grounded and stable and much more full on raw DH style, seems to 'float' over chatter and rough terrain much better. Despite the 'big' travel, you don't need to use the 951 as a plow bike, you can still air and style things and transition roots and rocks instead of just motoring through lines all hillbilly style.I'd ride one, and I'm a fussy git with only about 4 or 5 bikes than fit my needs/wants and DH specific riding style. Posted:Yes I was really pleased with it, they are really easy to pop & jump with and corner really well. I immediately felt faster on it anyway, definitely a bike that encourages you to go quick.

I did buy it knowing the risk of cracking (and thinking it was just rumours & nothing to worry about) so my advice would be buy new so at least you have a warranty, which I didn't.That said now I have a 2011 demo and it is just as nice to corner/jump with but much better in the rough stuff etc. Osl2000 boot manager 9.27 serial. So if that's not on your list of bikes, it should be!
